4x2 MTB Teams Race

The 4 x 2 is a 4 hour continuous relay race where teams of 1 or 2 complete as many laps as possible in that time, the team that completes the most laps in each category wins!

From 2pm to 6pm With prize giving to follow

The track is 5km long in Centennial Park Timaru with a huge campsite right in the middle of the trail.  Undulating terrain, a few sharp but short climbs, some tight corners, fast straights - nothing overly technical - just perfect for longer races and suitable for all levels of mountain bikers, from beginners to World Champions.  A great fun friendly atmosphere with all proceeds going back to building more tracks
